There are a lot of things that you should know about our family regarding medical issues. Hopefully you will read this and understand a few things.
Our family has always had a problem with Arthritis. This is something that you should talk with your parents and your doctor about. There are things that can be done to surpress it a little. But you have to be diligent and follow-up with habits.
Your Great Great Grandfather and your Great Grandfather lived in the Chicago area until business got a little dangerous for them. Appears that your Great Great Grandfather was a bootlegger and the police were getting close to arresting him. So... he moved to Wisconsin and set up shop. When your Great Grandfather was 7 years old, he was helping his father make deliveries one night when they had a flat tire on the car. Your Great Grandfather watched his father get hit by a speeding car while changing the tire. After that, your Great Grandfather moved to Lake Forest, Illinois and lived with his Aunt and her children.
Your Great Grandfather (PopPop). His neuropathy got so bad that he had to have his legs amputated. Prior to his death, he would say that he used to be 6' 4" tall until he lost a couple of feet". I know, not a very good joke, but sometimes the truth helps.
Your Great Grandmother. She had a lot of arthritis and heart issues. Prior to her death, she had a few heart attacks and 3 triple Heart Bypasses.
Your Grandfather (me). Mine is a long list so I will just list them.
I'm sure if you ask your Aunt Melinda, she will be able to give you a more complete list of issues you and your siblings should be aware of. Especially when you get a little older.
